Just outside New York City, another Duncan Heuser Design and Development project completed. Unified charcoal cladding wraps the whole facade like a frame, copper lanterns punctuate the darkness, and wide granite pavers pull you forward at exactly the right pace. The severity is intentional. The warmth is waiting.

A bathroom we could spend hours in. From a recent project.
We paired these Nickey Kehoe chairs in a striped fabric with the sectional sofa and it was immediately right. Add the James Duncan Montauk table and the whole room starts to feel like it belongs to the water outside.
Granada started with a feeling. We kept coming back to Cape Town for this one. That particular mix of raw texture and refinement, old-world craft and wide-open light. For this Coral Gables waterfront home, we let that thread run through every decision.
Reclaimed beams overhead. A marble fireplace surround grounding the room. Black steel French doors on nearly every wall, so the garden and the water are never out of sight. The furnishings stay quiet on purpose. Light oak tables, sculptural ceramics, a grand piano that anchors the far corner without competing. Then in the hallway, a floating black credenza with that carved scalloped edge, flanked by disc sconces and an abstract that pulls every neutral in the house together.
It is a home that was utterly changed, and one we are proud to share.
