Team Extra Innings is proud to recognize **Coach Loic Dowd**, the Head Coach of our **Team EI 11U** team!

Coach Dowd has coached multiple age groups throughout the Team Extra Innings program, including 9U, 10U, 11U, 13U and 18U. He also serves as an instructor at Extra Innings Middleton, working with players in:

⚾ Catching
⚾ Fielding
⚾ Hitting

As a player, Coach Dowd was a three-year varsity starter and team captain at Danvers High School, a Salem News All-Star, a Bay States Gold Medalist and a state championship finalist.

Coach Dowd brings experience, energy and a strong commitment to developing confident, fundamentally sound baseball players.

⚾ MEET EXTRA INNINGS COACH AND INSTRUCTOR RYAN ANDERSON! ⚾
Coach Ryan Anderson currently serves as the Head Coach of our 10U Team and has worked as an Extra Innings instructor, assistant coach and clinic leader for several years.
Ryan previously coached with our 11U and 14U teams and served as an assistant coach with the Saugus High School varsity baseball program.
He played four years at Saugus High School, where he was a varsity captain and NEC Dunn All-Star in 2022. During his senior season, Ryan recorded a .339 batting average and .548 on-base percentage.
Coach Anderson brings energy, knowledge and a strong commitment to player development every time he steps onto the field!

⚾ MEET EXTRA INNINGS COACH AND INSTRUCTOR JP REILING! ⚾
Coach JP Reiling brings extensive pitching and coaching experience to Extra Innings. He currently serves as the Head Baseball Coach at Bishop Fenwick High School and also coaches with Peabody Senior Legion Baseball.
JP previously helped lead Bishop Fenwick to the 2020 Division 3 North Final. Before beginning his coaching career, he was a four-year collegiate pitcher at Salem State University.
Coach Reiling works with pitchers on mechanics, velocity, command, arm care and confidence. His knowledge, energy and ability to connect with players make him a valuable member of our instructional staff.

⚾ MEET EXTRA INNINGS COACH AND INSTRUCTOR BOBBY CELENTANO! ⚾
Coach Bobby Celentano currently serves as the Danvers High School varsity hitting coach and brings extensive experience in hitting, outfield play and overall player development.
Bobby previously coached hitters and outfielders at Salem State, helping the program win a MASCAC championship and advance to the NCAA Regional Tournament. He has also coached with the Matignon, Legends and Show baseball programs.
As a player at Salem State, Bobby was a team captain, a three-time All-Conference selection and a Regional All-American. He finished among the nation’s top hitters with a .433 batting average and was selected to the NCAA New England Tournament Team.
Coach Celentano is excited to share his experience and hitting knowledge with Extra Innings players!

⚾ MEET EXTRA INNINGS COACH AND INSTRUCTOR DAN LILJA! ⚾

Coach Dan Lilja brings years of experience teaching hitting, pitching and fielding at Extra Innings Middleton. His ability to connect with players and teach every part of the game makes him a valuable member of our coaching staff.

Dan played college baseball at Dean College after attending Lynn Classical High School. He hit an impressive .450 during his junior season and earned NECC Academic All-Conference honors in 2020. He was also named to the Dean’s List and President’s List multiple times.

Coach Lilja is committed to helping players improve their skills, confidence and understanding of the game!

Team Extra Innings is excited to officially welcome **Coach Patrick Ruotolo** as a **Head Coach and Pitching Instructor!**

Coach Ruotolo brings an outstanding baseball background to our program:

⚾ Former professional pitcher in the **San Francisco Giants and Washington Nationals organizations**
🏆 Four-year **NEC All-Star** at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School
🎓 Standout pitcher at the **University of Connecticut (UConn)**
⭐ Earned **All-American Athletic Conference honors**
⚾ Selected by the Giants in the **27th round of the 2016 MLB Draft**
💪 Successfully returned to professional baseball following **Tommy John surgery**

Coach Ruotolo brings professional-level knowledge of pitching mechanics, velocity development, command, arm care and preparation. He is committed to developing confidence, mental toughness, strong fundamentals and a competitive mindset in every player.

We are extremely excited to have **Coach Ruotolo** join our coaching staff and help prepare Team Extra Innings players for success at the high school, college and professional levels!
