We hope you can join us tomorrow for the ceremony and open house!

Following the ceremony, the public will have an opportunity to tour the new buildings and view the town artifacts that will be placed in the time capsule.

W.T. Rich, the project’s construction contractor, will also be on hand to share information and photos highlighting the construction process from start to finish.

We look forward to welcoming the community and showing you around our new facilities. We hope to see you there!

After waiting more than three years since the order was placed, the Middleton Fire Department is pleased to announce that our new engine has officially been placed in service!

This new apparatus represents a significant investment in the safety and protection of our community and will help ensure that our members have the equipment they need to serve Middleton for years to come.

The Department would like to thank the residents of Middleton for their continued support and for making this important purchase possible. We are proud to put this new engine in service and look forward to serving our community with it.

🚨 “Can you tell them… no lights and sirens?” 🚨

It’s a request our 9-1-1 call takers hear from time to time, especially when someone is worried about waking the neighbors, upsetting a pet, or drawing attention to the situation.

Here’s something important to know:

📞 You can absolutely tell the 9-1-1 call taker that you would prefer responders not use lights and sirens. We can document that request.

However, 9-1-1 dispatchers cannot guarantee or dictate how police, fire, or EMS personnel respond to an incident.

🚓 🚒 🚑 Responding personnel make decisions about their response based on the nature and urgency of the call, department procedures, traffic and roadway conditions, safety considerations, and the information available to them.

So if you have a concern about lights and sirens, tell us! We’ll make sure the responders have that information — just understand that the final decision about how they respond belongs to the responding agency.

💛 Our job is to get the right information to the right people as quickly and accurately as possible.
