We’re excited to make it official—Hospice of Midland is now volunteer with Keep Midland Beautiful! 🌿💙

A couple of weeks ago, our CEO met with the Keep Midland Beautiful Volunteer Coordinator to get everything in place, and now our sign has officially been installed by the City of Midland on Texas Avenue!

We’re proud to take an active role in caring for the community we serve and look forward to doing our part to Keep Midland Beautiful. Be on the lookout for our team as we roll up our sleeves and help keep our city looking its best!

🐝 Leave a little wild space for bees to nest and forage
🚫 Reduce or eliminate the use of harmful pesticides
🌱 Support local growers and sustainable farming practices

Did you know that late summer is one of the most important times of the year for Monarch butterflies? As they prepare for their incredible migration journey, they're busy fueling up on nectar-rich flowers to build the energy they need for the trip ahead! 💪✨

This beautiful Monarch stopped by a Coneflower, but other favorite nectar sources include:

🌸 Joe-Pye W**d
🌺 Asters
🌻 Coneflowers

By planting these native, late-blooming flowers or allowing them to thrive in your garden, you're helping provide a vital food source for Monarchs and other pollinators when they need it most. Every bloom makes a difference! 🌿🐝🦋

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for our Walk in the Park for Mental Health event! It was wonderful to see our community come together for an evening of wellness, connection, and fun.

A special thank you to Watersong for welcoming us to the beautiful Watersong Wild Space, providing guided tours, and hosting yoga in such a peaceful setting. We are grateful for your partnership and support.

We'd also like to thank El Taco N Madre and Snoworries for keeping everyone well-fed and refreshed. The food was absolutely delicious, and those snow cones were the perfect treat on a warm August evening! 🌮🍧☀️

Events like these are made possible by our community's support, and we are so thankful for everyone who participated, volunteered, and helped make the evening a success.

We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to doing it again next year! 🌱🧘‍♀️🚶‍♂️
