Meet Tom. He's 80... and he's kind of a badass.
If you know anything about Tom, you know he's a creature of habit. Same training times. Same parking spot (or at least he tries π
). He just keeps showing up.
And that's the point.
If you're looking at this thinking, "I could never do that," you're probably right...
..today.
Tom didn't walk into the gym deadlifting this weight. He's built it over years (and we mean yeeeears) of consistently showing up, putting in the work, and getting just a little stronger.
You don't have to start where Tom is. You just have to start where you are.
Your future self will thank you.

They put in the reps, they trusted the plan,
Now weβre celebrating like their biggest fan.
No World Cup trophy, no stadium view,
But weβre still charging the field to celebrate you.

βοΈ TRAINER TIP
More reps aren't always better.
Better reps are better.
Take the time to learn proper technique before adding weight, reps, or intensity.
Quality movement:

Builds strength

Reduces injury risk

Creates long-term success
Slow down. Move well. Then progress.
Overhead pressing is one of the best ways to build strong, resilient shoulders... but that doesn't mean everyone should do it the exact same way. πͺ
Whether you're working around an old injury, improving your mobility, or simply building strength, there's a vertical press variation that can meet you where you are.
These are 6 of our favorite vertical press variations that we use with our folks to build strength, improve shoulder stability, and progress with confidence.
Which variation would you try first? π

Why does pain sometimes stick around long after tissues have healed?

Feeling tight through your hips?
Whether you sit for long periods, spend a lot of time driving, or just feel stiff when you squat, bend, or move, a few minutes of targeted mobility work can go a long way.
Try incorporating 1-2 of these drills into your warm-up before a workout or as a quick movement break during the day. Focus on slow, controlled reps and spend a little extra time on the positions that feel the most restricted.
Remember: mobility isn't about forcing a stretch... it's about helping your body move more comfortably and confidently.
Save this post for the next time your hips need some attention. π

One week down. One week to go.
Our first-ever Bring a Friend Event has been off to a great start. Over the past week, we've loved seeing familiar faces walk through our doors alongside friends, spouses, coworkers, neighbors, and family members.
And honestly, it's been a great reminder of something we already knew:
The best people in our community tend to know other great people.
If you've been thinking about inviting someone but haven't gotten around to it yet, there's still time. The event runs through June 26, and we'd love the opportunity to meet someone who's important to you.
After all, there is no better compliment to what we've built here than when you choose to share it with someone you care about.
Talk to your coach, send us a message, or have your friend register through the link in our bio. We'll take care of the rest.
Let's finish strong. πͺ
