Reminder!! LAST DAY to turn in tag money for pigs.

County AND Major Swine tag orders are due to an Ag Teacher or in the drop box today.

Tags are $30 each. If paying by check, please make checks payable to “Validation Account.”

If the school is helping you purchase your pig. This is the deadline for swine orders. Please turn in your order form by September 21st. No money is due for animals at this time—we just need to know how many pigs you need and what type.

Additionally, The state now requires each county to track tags and who they are assigned to. Please complete the Google Form before submitting payment for your tags.

Some of our Freshman had a great time at the Area 8 Greenhand Camp today! They got to learn about different opportunities thru FFA, participated in multiple different workshops, and made some new friends.

⭐️London did a great job with her Area 8 Officer teammates planning and leading the entire day!

⭐️John did an amazing job leading his own workshop as well as representing Texas FFA as the Area 8 state officer!

🐶🩺 Hands-On Learning in Vet Science!

Today our Vet Science students practiced safe dog handling and restraint techniques used in veterinary clinics. Students worked in groups to learn, practice, and demonstrate different methods while explaining when and why each would be used.

A great day of teamwork, confidence-building, and learning by doing! 🐾❤️
