We can’t let today go without giving credit where credit is due. Today marks 3 years of amazing service to our communities. God has opened up so many avenues for us and we can’t do any of this without Him and the people He has put in our path.

Thank you to all of our board members for always standing behind this mission and having a big heart for serving our communities in the DFW metroplex.

Thank you to every volunteer and person that has stood beside us in making this happen. It’s a huge task and can’t be done without you.

And thank you to everyone that has donated to our mission. Serving our communities is what we are all called to do. And when we all come together and make this happen God blesses each of us in incredible ways.

Today we were able to serve 500 people full meals and snacks for the weekend. This couldn’t be done without those that believe in what we are doing. You know who you are and we are beyond grateful for what you did and continue to do for our mission.

Donation Request for this Saturdays homeless outreach:

This Saturday we will be serving our homeless community in Ft Worth and could really use your help. Food banks are running low and we aren’t able to get much to feed with.

We are in need of:

Hot Dogs
Hot Dogs Buns
Boxes of Chips
Fresh Fruit (apples, oranges)
Electrolyte Drinks
Loaves of Bread for PBJ’s
Jelly
Granola Bars

Hygiene needs:
Baby wipes
Soap
Deodorant

Men’s clothing
Shoes

Anything helps when you have nothing. One pack of hot dogs and buns can give 8 people something in their bellies.

Every day, thousands of men, women, and children wake up without the comfort of a bed, the security of a home, or the certainty of their next meal. They are often seen but rarely noticed. They stand on street corners, sleep beneath bridges, or find temporary shelter wherever they can. Yet behind every face is a story—a story of loss, hardship, trauma, addiction, mental illness, unexpected medical bills, domestic violence, job loss, or simply a series of unfortunate circumstances that could happen to almost anyone.

One of the greatest tragedies surrounding homelessness is not just the lack of housing—it is the lack of compassion.

Too often, society has become comfortable looking away. We pass by without making eye contact. We assume the worst instead of asking what happened. We label people instead of loving them. While many organizations genuinely work tirelessly to serve those experiencing homelessness, others have limited resources, shifting priorities, or systems that leave people waiting when they need help most. The result is that many individuals still fall through the cracks, feeling forgotten and invisible.

The homeless are more than statistics. They are fathers who miss their children. Mothers trying to protect their families. Veterans who served their country. Young adults aging out of foster care. Seniors living on fixed incomes. Neighbors whose lives changed after one unexpected crisis.

No one dreams of becoming homeless. Most never imagined they would one day depend on the kindness of strangers.

What hurts even more than hunger is rejection. Imagine asking for help and being ignored. Imagine feeling like your life no longer matters. Imagine carrying your belongings everywhere you go because you have nowhere safe to leave them. Imagine celebrating birthdays, holidays, and life’s hardest moments completely alone.

Compassion costs far less than indifference.

Helping someone doesn’t always require writing a large check. It may be sharing a meal, offering clean water during the summer, donating clothing, volunteering a few hours, listening without judgment, or simply treating someone with dignity. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give another person is to remind them that they are seen.

Communities become stronger when people choose mercy over criticism. Real change happens when churches, nonprofits, businesses, and individuals work together instead of assuming someone else will step in. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, plants a seed of hope.

The measure of a community is not found in its tallest buildings or strongest economy but in how it treats its most vulnerable people.

The challenge before us is simple: Will we continue walking past those in need, or will we stop, care, and become part of the solution?

The homeless do not need our pity. They need our compassion. They need opportunities. They need encouragement. Most of all, they need people willing to see their humanity before their circumstances.

A warm meal may satisfy hunger for a day. A kind word may restore hope for a moment. But consistent love, support, and genuine community can help change a life forever.

Perhaps the next person we help won’t just receive a meal—they’ll receive a reminder that they have not been forgotten. And sometimes, that reminder is the first step toward a brand-new beginning.
