At Christian Women’s Job Corps, we believe spiritual growth is an important part of lasting transformation. Through Bible study, prayer, and encouragement, we help women strengthen their faith and discover the hope found in Christ.

At CWJC, our students are learning more than just skills for the workplace. They're gaining the knowledge, confidence, and tools they need to build stronger, more independent futures!

Through our FREE 12-week program, women in Ellis County receive hands-on training in four essential areas:

💻 COMPUTER SKILLS – Building digital confidence through Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google tools, and online safety.

💰 MONEY MANAGEMENT – Learning how to budget, manage debt, understand credit, save for the future, and make wise financial decisions.

💬 COMMUNICATIONS – Developing effective communication, professional etiquette, teamwork, and interpersonal skills that strengthen relationships at work and in everyday life.

💼 JOB READINESS – Preparing for new opportunities through résumé writing, interview preparation, job search strategies, professionalism, and career development.

But what makes CWJC truly special is that we invest in the whole woman—professionally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Through practical training, supportive relationships, mentoring, and faith-based encouragement, we're helping women discover their God-given potential and take confident steps toward a brighter tomorrow.

For two decades, Jackie has faithfully invested her time, talents, and heart into serving others. Through her teaching, encouragement, dedication, and faithfulness, she has touched countless lives and demonstrated what it means to serve with purpose.

At Christian Women’s Job Corps, our mission is made possible by people who believe in walking alongside women as they grow professionally, emotionally, and spiritually. Jackie represents that heart of service so beautifully.

More Than Job Skills. ❤️

At CWJC, preparing women for the workforce is an important part of what we do, but our mission goes much deeper.

We believe lasting transformation happens when women are equipped and empowered in every area of life: professionally, emotionally, and spiritually.

💼 Professionally — Women gain practical job-readiness and workplace skills that build confidence, encourage independence, and help prepare them for meaningful employment.

❤️ Emotionally — Through caring mentors and a supportive community, women are encouraged to recognize their value, develop healthy relationships, build confidence, and move forward with renewed hope.

✝️ Spiritually — Christ is at the heart of CWJC. Through Bible-based teaching, mentoring, and prayer, women are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus and discover the purpose God has for their lives.

From our participants and their families to our mentors, teachers, staff, donors, ministry partners, and Board of Directors, your prayers make a difference.

At CWJC, we’re grateful for instructors who pour their time, wisdom, and encouragement into the women we serve. Today, we’re highlighting Zee Higgins, who teaches our Boundaries class! ❤️

Learning to establish healthy boundaries is an important part of building confidence, strengthening relationships, and moving forward with purpose. Through her class, Zee helps equip our students with practical tools they can carry into their personal lives, relationships, and the workplace.
