Midlothian Conference Center

We are excited to unveil the refreshed Conference Center thanks to support from Midlothian Community Development. The makeover includes new furnishings, decor, and artwork, as well as wallpaper, paint, and landscaping. A grant from MCD helped construct the original facility in the early 2000s, and it has been a popular local site for banquets, weddings, anniversaries, and corporate events ever since. Stop by and see the glow-up. Many thanks to MCD for continuing to invest in spaces that bring our community together and keep Midlothian thriving.

A COMMUNITY MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR 9/11

Wherever you are on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 9:11 a.m., you are invited to participate in a Community Moment of Silence to observe the tragic events of September 11, uniting our hearts across the city, remembering the thousands of innocent lives lost, lifting up the families who still carry the deep pain of grief, and honoring the courage of the first responders and ordinary citizens who showed selfless love and bravery in the face of terror. May this shared moment help bring healing where there is brokenness, unity where there is division, and a commitment to building a more just and peaceful world. Contract part-time event worker needed at the beautiful Midlothian Conference Center. Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for event set-up and tear-down, cleaning, and minor maintenance. May work directly with customers to provide service during events. Specific duties include ensuring tables, chairs, beverage stations, and various items are set up according to event schedules and floor plans. Reset rooms after events. Perform various custodial duties such as trash can and litter collection and disposal; cleaning and restocking bathrooms and kitchen; maintain a clean facility by mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.

The Conference Center will be closed Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, to celebrate our country's 250th birthday!

In observance of Independence Day, City Hall, the Library, and Non‑Emergency Services will be closed Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th. Trash service will run as normal. Regular hours will resume the following week.

With a room full of Woodys, Jessies, and Buss Lightyears, dads and daughters enjoyed the annual dance presented by the Midlothian Conference Center staff on Friday, June 19. The event has become an anticipated town tradition that transforms the Bluebonnet Ballroom each year into a themed wonderland where guests dance, play, dine, and make infinite memories.
