Voices and Votes was a MOOOOVIE 🤪

Or whatever the kids say, lol.

Y’all already know the food was good and the energy was even better.

But let’s be real — we don’t just come together for the vibes.

Our events are always advocacy parties and this one was no different.

For Voices & Votes, we brought in civic leaders and speakers to talk with y’all about why voting matters — and to make sure everyone in the room left registered and ready.

This year’s elections are serious, y’all.

There’s a lot on the line, and it’s on all of us to remind our neighbors how essential it is to show up and VOTE.

📌 Not registered yet? Handle that TODAY!

Here’s what’s on the ballot that we’re watching closely 👇🏽

✅ HJ1: Fundamental Right to Reproductive Freedom

Enshrines reproductive freedom as a constitutional right in Virginia — protected unless the state can prove a compelling interest, met by the least restrictive means.

✅ HJ2: Right to Vote & Automatic Rights Restoration

Makes voting a fundamental constitutional right and automatically restores voting rights to people with felony convictions upon release.

✅ HJ3: Marriage Equality Protection

Repeals Virginia’s outdated same-s*x marriage ban and prohibits denial of marriage licenses based on s*x, gender, or race.

Make sure you get you and yours straight to the ballot box this November 3rd. 👏🏽

🤍 If you’ve walked this road — as a patient, a partner, a provider, or an advocate — we want to hear from you.

For too long, the conversation around building a family has only made room for one story — one that has excluded many unique families.

With Black families facing infertility at nearly twice the rate of other communities, and STILL navigating it with the least support, we’re building a Virginia-wide fertility coalition of people ready to push for real change — for all of us.

Your story helps us make the case, ahead of and beyond the November elections, that reproductive freedom HAS to include fertility justice, too.

📢 Share your story and join the movement :
