You truly never know the effect you have on people.

Back in May I taught at at the annual Hip Hop Day event. For 3 years now I've been lucky enough to get the opportunity to dance with an AMAZING group of 5th graders that always seem to remind me why I do this.

What I didnt realize was that after teaching this past Thursday I would be met with another reminder. This time it was.... FAN MAIL??

Ended up deciding to post this one. This captures one of the biggest things that fills a teacher's heart. The genuine connection that you build with the kids is unique. It's something you can't fabricate. Till next time y'all 🤘🏾🐺

The CDC Delirium banquet is always a great time. Full of laughs and sharing the moment with dance family. Every year awards are given out to tell the kids "We see you working hard. Keep it up". But, every now and again, the kids take an opportunity to tell us the same thing. And it means more than they will ever know. Thank you girls 🤘🏾🙏🏾🐺 .
