Change the World - Eric Clapton & Babyface, 1996
One of my absolute favorite songs featuring
3 Grammys including Record of the Year. Co-written by Tommy Sims (in addition to Gordon Kennedy and Wayne Kirkpatrick), then produced by Babyface. Clapton has said he specifically asked Babyface to give the song “the blues thing,” and the opening guitar lines are a direct nod to Muddy Waters’ “Mannish Boy”.

I've seen a lot of back and forth between men and women and hate on both sides. this is the first of 4 covers I'll be posting for black music month. hopefully this takes you back to a time when love between the two of us felt easier, simpler and beautiful.

Hey everyone,
Due to unforeseen circumstances the May 15 show at Big Bear Cafe has been cancelled. Every ticket sold will be refunded. I’m so grateful for everyone who was planning to come out and hold space with me.
I’m taking the rest of this month to rest, decompress, and fill back up before heading to Spain in June for the next chapter of this journey.
