WCC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing dependence on foreign oil, improving Wisconsin's air quality, health, economy, job market and climate resilience by promoting the use of cleaner alternative fuels and technologies. WCC works with interested parties in order to reduce emissions, encourage the use of alternative fuels and alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs), and develop the refueling infrastructure necessary to sustain the industry.

The Milwaukee Public School District will start to use EV busses this fall.
50 electric school buses to transport MPS kids starting this fall Milwaukee Public Schools will put 50 electric buses on the road this fall, with 100 more planned. The entire initiative is federally funded.
