The Rosary brings us closer to Our Lord by allowing us to meditate on His life through the eyes of His Holy Mother. Each prayer and mystery is rooted in scripture!

Do you pray the Rosary?
⁣
In praying the Rosary, we are able to meditate on the life of Jesus Christ through the eyes of the Blessed Mother.
⁣
You can find a how-to guide for praying the Rosary here.
⁣
Throughout history, various saints have expressed their love for this scriptural prayer.
⁣
Here are nine quotes from the saints that illustrate the supernatural nature of the Holy Rosary:
Come pray the Rosary with us! Monday through Friday we pray the rosary at 8am, before our 8:30 weekly Mass.
This October Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church will be praying the Rosary at 8:00 am before 8:30am Sunday Mass.

GOSPEL QUESTION OF THE WEEK — In the parable of the two sons, Jesus warns the chief priests and elders to be open-minded and willing to change. What are you hoping will change in your life?

This Priesthood Sunday, we give thanks for the priests who have answered God’s call with faith and generosity, both throughout history and in our communities today.

Through their service, compassion, and devotion, they bring Christ’s presence to His people in countless ways.

We give special thanks for Fr. Carmelo and Fr. Michael.

Serving six parishes asks much of them, and we are grateful for the care they give to our communities. Thank you for celebrating Mass, bringing us the sacraments, praying with us, and walking alongside us in moments of both joy and difficulty.

Please join us in praying for Fr. Carmelo, our pastor, and Fr. Michael, our associate pastor. May God renew their strength, fill them with joy in their vocation, and bless them for all they give to the people of South Shore Catholic Parishes.
