Flight Day was a soaring success!

This weekend, Discovery World was filled with birds, squirrels, butterflies, rockets, drones, paper airplanes, and plenty of curious minds. From live animal presentations and hands-on STEM activities to our Paper Airplane Contest, there was wonder around every corner.

Thank you to our amazing partners and everyone who joined us to explore the science of flight. Your curiosity helped make the day truly extraordinary.

Progress is pouring in at Discovery World!

Even though Annual Maintenance Week has wrapped up, work continues on exciting new experiences throughout the museum. The transformation of our former City of Freshwater space is now underway as we prepare to welcome Life of Water later this winter.

This immersive new exhibit will invite you to explore the powerful, surprising, and essential role water plays in our world.

Check back as we share updates from this exciting journey. The next chapter of discovery is already taking shape! 💧

This weekend, your imagination can soar in more ways than one!

🐾 Saturday: Join us for a special reading of Alyxander: Defender of Humanity and follow Alyx on his first heroic adventure.

✈️ Sunday: Celebrate all things that fly during Flight Day! Meet raptors, rockets, drones, bats, butterflies, pilots, and more through hands-on activities and live presentations.

What will you discover this weekend? 🎟️ Included with admission. Learn more and plan your visit at discoveryworld.org.

We are closed through Friday for our Annual Maintenance. So many projects are underway (and under the water). See you this weekend!
