Promotion Alert 🚨 Join us in congratulating Acaju Samael Chavez Gastelum on his promotion to Milwaukee Ballet's Company for the 2026/27 season! ✨ As part of our Milwaukee Ballet II (MBII) second company during the past two seasons, Acaju has been featured in MBII's 'Momentum' production, while also performing alongside the Company in productions including the 2026 'Genesis International Choreographic Competition' and Mark Godden's 'Carmen'.

We are thrilled to celebrate Acaju's promotion and can't wait to see him take the stage as a Company Artist this season. Congratulations, Acaju! 👏

Promotion Alert 🚨 We are thrilled to announce that Garrett Glassman has been promoted to Leading Artist for the 2026/27 season! This well-earned promotion comes after more than a decade with Milwaukee Ballet. Since joining Milwaukee Ballet II in 2012 and the Company in 2014, Garrett has brought unforgettable characters to life in productions including 'The Nutcracker', 'Hunchback of Notre Dame', 'Dracula', 'Cinderella', 'Sleeping Beauty', and 'Carmen'. In addition to his work onstage, Garrett has also shared his incredible choreographic talents with original works "Affixed" and "I Do, Don't I?"

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Donald Baumgartner, a lifelong and immensely charitable patron of our Company and the wider Milwaukee community. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his loving wife, Donna; their children, grandchildren, and the entire Baumgartner family; along with his many friends and all who were fortunate to know him.⁠
