We currently have a high-stakes office bird situation. A colleague keeps hiding a bird to watch me. I successfully smuggled it back into her office, sat down at my desk, and immediately locked eyes with a THIRD bird.I am officially under avian surveillance. 🐦👀

Love his enthusiasm

Most police fitness programs are not built for what the job actually demands. A standard gym routine prepares you to look fit. A patrol shift asks something completely different, long hours on your feet, heavy gear, unpredictable bursts of explosive movement, and the requirement to perform at full capacity the moment a situation escalates. The average law enforcement duty belt weighs between 15 and 25 pounds. Add a level three vest and you are looking at an extra 30 pounds of weight during a full sprint. Most officers are never specifically trained to run, fight, or pursue under those conditions. The ones who can are usually former military, combat athletes, or people who treat their fitness the same way they treat their service, like it actually matters when it counts. This officer clearly falls into that category. The WOOOOO was just a bonus. #Unsetextreme #Adrenaline #Unreal #USA #California
