Through GO MKE, Alijah completed workforce and life skills training, which led to employment as a Security Officer. He said it's the longest he has been out in the community that he can remember since being released from juvenile detention and attributes this to the program and his connection with its staff.

Alicia Bradford participated in Earn & Learn as a freshman in high school, working outdoors in a garden. This July, she joined Employ Milwaukee as a Senior Communications Specialist, where she helps manage social media and marketing campaigns.

“Having a job that gives back to the community that I was raised in is so rewarding,” Alicia said.
