This is a big deal!

The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer, and for many of us, the changing seasons can bring a little less light and a bit of the seasonal blues.

But you’re not alone. 💚 Our local animal rights and vegan community is here year-round. At the Animal Rights Coalition, we’re here to help you stay connected, find your people, and make space for joy while continuing to create a kinder world for animals.

As we head into fall, we hope you’ll lean into the people, places, and events that remind you that you are not alone. Whether that’s sharing a meal with fellow vegans, joining an animal rights event, volunteering, or simply spending time with people who share your values, there are many ways to stay connected.

This season, take care of yourself, stay connected, and remember: you have a place in this community.

ARC had a great time at Macalester’s Fall Involvement Fair on the Great Lawn last Thursday evening!

We were especially excited when a Macalester student told us she was interested in starting a vegan club on campus. We attended to help her gauge interest, connect with students, and share resources on going vegan and getting involved with ARC as a volunteer. We also chatted with students about plant-based food options on campus and ways to advocate for animals.

VegFest is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the Animal Rights Coalition community — people who care deeply about animals, want to learn more about animal rights, and are looking for ways to turn that care into action.

At our tent, you can learn more about ARC and what’s happening in our community, from campaigns and educational programs to advocacy groups, classes, movie screenings, dine-outs, volunteer opportunities, our vegan store, and so much more.

Whether you’re a longtime animal rights activist, curious about getting involved, looking for ways to make a difference, or simply want to meet other people who share your love for animals — come find us and say hi!

We had a great time at the U of M’s annual Community Engagement Fair! Many students stopped by to learn more about going vegan, ways to volunteer with us, and plant-based options available at the university. It was wonderful connecting with so many students and sharing resources to help make plant-based living and veganism more accessible.

Sorry for the inconvenience ... Ethique Nouveau will not be open tomorrow Thursday, September 17th, so that staff can attend outreach events.
