If you're at all a fan of colorful wallpaper, whimsy, or simply historic homes, you won't want to miss Home 16 on the Homes by Architects Tour. David Heide Design Studio worked closely with the homeowners to develop a full-house remodel of this early 20th century home that incorporates period-appropriate detail and preserves its vintage charm without sacrificing functionality. With a deep knowledge of architectural history, and by focusing on the historic character of the house and the surrounding neighborhood, the architecture team created a design that is timeless and avoids fleeting trends that quickly lose their appeal. This home is sure to remain a cherished, functional, and enduring space for the current family and generations to come.
Explore this home in person on September 27 & 28 as part of the annual Homes by Architects Tour, the only Minnesota home tour showcasing the high-quality designs of our exceptional local residential architecture community.
