John us in a week for two art builds in which we will be making hand signs, large props and a large banner. Democracy is dying - Pohlads, sign the pledge! Protesters rally outside Target Field to push Pohlad family to "stand up for democracy" Demonstrators gathered in the rain Saturday afternoon outside Target Field in downtown Minneapolis to demand the owners of the Minnesota Twins "stand up for democracy."

Last winter, Minnesotans came together across races, religious and cultural backgrounds, generations, and zip codes to defend our neighbors. Today, we ask Pohlad Companies, owner of the Minnesota Twins: Which Side Are You On?! If Trump threatens our freedom to vote, will you fight back? Pohlads: Sign the Business for Democracy pledge now!

Workers were the frontline during ICE’s violent occupation, in which the federal government violated the rights of countless U.S. citizens. The federal government continues to violate the rights of citizens and continues to enact authoritarian attacks on our democracy, whether it be the political persecution of the Minnesota 15 or the continued unchecked violence of ICE all across the country (most recently with the shooting in Austin, Texas this past Sunday). Elections are around the corner, and workers are once again stepping up to make sure our right to vote and have fair and free elections is protected.

Will the Pohlads stand with us now? Join us to demand that the Pohlads stand with workers and every-day Minnesotans fighting to protect our democracy, by signing the Business for Democracy Pledge.

Los trabajadores estuvieron en primera línea durante la violenta ocupación de ICE, en la que el gobierno federal violó los derechos de innumerables ciudadanos estadounidenses. El gobierno federal sigue violando los derechos de los ciudadanos y continúa lanzando ataques autoritarios contra nuestra democracia, ya sea mediante la persecución política de los «15 de Minnesota» o la violencia descontrolada y constante de ICE en todo el país (más recientemente con el tiroteo ocurrido el domingo pasado en Austin, Texas). Las elecciones están a la vuelta de la esquina, y los trabajadores están dando un paso al frente una vez más para garantizar que se proteja nuestro derecho al voto y a tener elecciones libres y justas.

Workers want to know: Pohlads,which side are you on? Will you stand with the people of Minnesota against authoritarian attacks on our democracy?

A medida que nos acercamos a las elecciones de mitad de período y en medio de los continuos ataques contra nuestra democracia, los trabajadores seguimos pensando de manera creativa en cómo podemos hacer que nuestro mensaje a los Pohlad y a otros multimillonarios y corporaciones de Minnesota sea alto y claro. Los trabajadores quieren saber: Pohlad, ¿de qué lado están? ¿Se pondrán del lado del pueblo de Minnesota contra los ataques autoritarios a nuestra democracia?
