We're delighted to share that Meg Day has received the 2026 Pegasus Poetry Book Prize for SOUND LASSO, which Graywolf will publish in 2028.

This prize was established in 2025 in partnership with The Poetry Foundation and awards $10,000 and publication to an unpublished first or second poetry collection by a United States poet 40 or older. The recipient will also receive a residency at Ragdale.

We’re excited to announce that I GAVE YOU EYES AND YOU LOOKED TOWARD DARKNESS by Irene Solà and translated by Mara Faye Lethem has been shortlisted for the 2026 Spain-USA Foundation Translation Award (SUFTA), administered by the American Literary Translators Association!

The Spain-USA Foundation Translation Award (SUFTA), inaugurated in 2022, is offered by the American Literary Translators Association in conjunction with the Spain-USA Foundation. The award recognizes translations into English of literary prose works written originally by authors of Spanish (Spain) nationality. The source language of the original text may be Spanish, Catalan, Basque, or Galician. The judges for the 2026 SUFTA are D. P. Snyder, Jacob Rogers, and Will Morningstar. The winning translator will receive a $5,000 cash prize.
