I’m just going to leave this sapphire Confetti ring here to mark the last day of September … perfect to start the fall with these gorgeous autumnal colors! 🍁

18k gold and multi-color sapphires.

Just returned from an amazing trip to France. My husband and I spent time in Nice and Paris, partly for a French course in Nice. (If you're fluent and about to text me en français, be warned … I’m still a beginner!) It was such a lovely break from the studio, work, and social media – I was in full vacation mode! But even in vacation mode, I still love to look at jewelry …

While in Paris, we stumbled onto a retrospective of jewelry artist Daniel Brush at L'ÉCOLE School of Jewelry Arts. I was not familiar with him, and I was amazed, delighted, and so inspired by the show. I wrote about the exhibition (with photos!) on my blog — link in bio. If you don't know his work, it’s worth a look!

PS: France photo dump coming to my stories soon!

High gold prices call for creative options — like making Confetti in sterling silver with natural sapphires and lab-created diamonds. ✨

Same playful geometry, and celebratory mood. These cuties use a mix that's bright, colorful, and budget-friendly without losing any of the sparkle.

When the stone already tells a story.

The branching dendrite inclusions in these agates look like trees sketched in ink — and honestly, I just tried not to get in the way. Oxidized sterling, 18k yellow gold, and diamond drops.

The whole fun collection that went out last week included a big stack of my new Confetti rings, a one of a kind color change sapphire solitaire, a rainbow sapphire flush set band (which reminds me of cake sprinkles) and a custom engagement ring using a client’s diamond. Everything set in 18k gold.

The whole project felt so joyful and made me so happy! 🌈

Teamwork makes the dream work... until it doesn't. Slide to see what happens to this very ambitious Confetti ring stack. 18k gold, recycled diamonds, and a rainbow of sapphires — easy to stack on the hand, but apparently less so for a still photo. 🤪

P.S. This is a bit of a departure from my usual still life shots. Cute or chaotic? (Both are valid answers.)

Sweet on this set. 🍭 A custom solitaire featuring a purple-gray color change sapphire paired with a rainbow sapphire scatter band — both in 18k gold. Yummy!

These pretty little Malaya garnets with diamonds in 14k rose gold … headed off to Wear Ever Jewelry in Alexandria, VA! (Along with a fun collection of other pieces … new work coming soon to !)
