Top athletes take over Sioux Area 4-H Rodeo in Mitchell Hundreds of young rodeo athletes were in action on Saturday and Sunday with the Sioux Area 4-H Rodeo taking place on the grounds at the Horsemen’s Sports Arena.

What an amazing weekend at the Sioux Area 4-H Rodeo! We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who played a part in making this event such a tremendous success.

This year was especially exciting as we welcomed everyone to a new location. Moving to a new location brought new challenges, but it also brought new opportunities, new adventures, and a weekend full of great memories. None of it would have been possible without the support of so many wonderful people.

Thank you to all of our contestants, parents, grandparents, family members, friends, volunteers, and everyone who stepped up to lend a hand. Your patience, flexibility, encouragement, and willingness to help made this transition a success, and we truly appreciate each and every one of you.

A special thank you goes out to all of our sponsors. Your generosity and support helped make this rodeo possible. From awards and event expenses to providing resources that enhanced the experience for our contestants and families, your contributions made a tremendous impact. We truly could not do this without you!

From the very beginning, you welcomed us, helped us navigate our new location, and worked alongside us to ensure everything ran smoothly. Your partnership was instrumental in making this rodeo a success, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you did.

Finally, a huge thank you to all of our arena crew and event volunteers. Whether you worked in the office, the arena, the chutes, the announcer's stand, behind the scenes, or anywhere in between, your time and dedication did not go unnoticed. Sunday Results!!!

Saturday Results

Senior girls poles will be moving to the south Arena after steer wrestling concludes. 

Reminder that order of events for Sunday is the same as Saturday except in the South Arena. There is no rough stock. We will start with senior Girl barrels at 10 AM.

If you did not pick up your prizes from yesterday before the office closed early, please make sure to stop up and grab them this morning. And also remember all prizes must be picked up today before you head home.
