Kat Deal

Alright, y'all--it's that time of year again. I'm booking out for December so if you want me for a Christmas party, email your girl!

TONIGHT! Y'all come see us at the Soul Kitchen and party with us!

'GET DOWN' AT SOUL KITCHEN
🎯 The Hargrove Foundation’s Downtown Get Down returns Thursday, Sept. 24, from 5 to 10 p.m. at Soul Kitchen in Downtown Mobile. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

🎶 The fundraising event will feature a co****le tournament along with live music from the Kat Deal Band. Co****le teams can still register for $125, although space is limited. Spectators can attend for a $5 donation.

The Downtown Get Down is one of the Hargrove Foundation’s community fundraising events. The foundation is the charitable arm of the Hargrove Family of Companies and provides financial support to nonprofit organizations and other charitable causes.

Its four primary areas of giving are education, health and human services, arts and culture, and qualified sports activities. The foundation says it contributes to dozens of causes each year in communities where Hargrove offices are located.

Education support can include scholarships and programs that provide students with hands-on learning opportunities, while health and human services funding can support organizations addressing community needs, disasters and public health issues.

Downtown Get Down has been used for years as a way to bring the Mobile community together while raising money for the foundation’s charitable work. Previous editions have included live music, food and other entertainment in Downtown Mobile.

Soul Kitchen is at 219 Dauphin St.
