In this first episode of our collaboration series, I stopped by Accelerated Accounting to talk with tax specialist James Thomasson.

My trip up north started out absolutely perfect. Beautiful, lush green walks with my dog Classy, waves at the Dunes, and quality family time.

​But the universe decided I needed a little character building on the way back to Alabama. ✈️

​What was supposed to be a simple flight home turned into a mechanical delay in South Bend, a missed connection, a free hotel stay for all of six hours in Dallas (though I did manage to score some cute lollipop-holding stuffed armadillos for the stepkids!), and a final flight home with a broken AC.

​But here is the secret: in travel and in real estate, things don't always go exactly according to the itinerary. Inspections turn up surprises, financing timelines shift, or plans change.

​When a transaction hits a breakdown or things get chaotic, I don't panic, I thrive. Having an ally in your corner who knuckles down, finds the solution, and gets you to the closing table anyway is everything.
