WE LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS!! ♥️♥️♥️😻

A beautiful human saw this sweet guy trying to enter Providence Hospital on Sept 17 and she couldn’t leave him behind. He was dirty, emaciated and begging for help, so she scooped him up and brought him straight to the clinic. He received a clean bill of health, vaccines, food and lots of TLC. He is thriving in his new home with his new parents, siblings and an abundance of love ♥️♥️
Have a wonderful life, Provi!

Help me find my home. This sweet baby was found by a client. There is a microchip but sadly it’s not registered. If you know this baby please call us at 251-343-5033.

Pumpkin Spice Season Is Here… But Please Don’t Share Your PSL With Your Pup!

As tempting as those pumpkin spice treats may be, some fall favorites can contain ingredients that are dangerous for dogs, including:

🚫 Chocolate & caffeine
🚫 Raisins
🚫 Xylitol
🚫 Macadamia nuts
🚫 Large amounts of nutmeg
🚫 High amounts of sugar and fat

Those rich treats can cause anything from GI upset to pancreatitis, and some ingredients can be life-threatening.

Want to give your dog a little taste of fall? Stick with pet-safe treats made specifically for them!

When in doubt, check the ingredients or call us, your pets favorite vet team, before sharing!

We’re so grateful to be able to connect our clients with building better dogs and the wonderful work they do!

🐾 OTHER TRAINERS SAID NO. I SAID YES — AND SPRING HILL ANIMAL CLINIC HELPED MAKE THAT CONNECTION. ❤️
When Mary needed help with her dogs, Frida and Cleo, she was dealing with something no dog owner ever wants to experience: repeated fights between two dogs she loves.
She reached out to multiple trainers in the Mobile area looking for help.
She kept being turned away.
Then Mary was referred to Building Better Dogs by Spring Hill Animal Clinic.
And I said:
YES. I will help you.
That is why I want to give a very special and heartfelt THANK YOU to the veterinarians and entire staff at Spring Hill Animal Clinic.
Spring Hill Animal Clinic has continued to believe in me, support Building Better Dogs, and recommend my training services to families who need help.
That trust means a great deal to me.
My goal with Building Better Dogs has always been about much more than teaching a dog to sit, down, or stay.
It is about improving the lives of dogs and the people who love them through positive reinforcement, gentle guidance, and clear communication that provides real results.
It is about helping owners better understand their dogs.
It is about giving dogs clearer expectations, building confidence, improving communication, and helping them make better choices.
And when families are dealing with difficult behavioral problems, it is about giving them hope and a path forward instead of simply telling them no.
With more than 30 years of experience working with dogs in many different situations, I am willing to work with the difficult cases—the fearful dogs, reactive dogs, dogs displaying aggression, and families who may feel like they are running out of options.
I do not refuse a dog simply because the situation is challenging.
When you contact Building Better Dogs, you work directly with me.
I personally come to your home, work with you and your dog, evaluate what is happening in the environment where the behavior actually occurs, and develop a training plan designed for your individual situation.
That personal, in-home approach is a major part of what Building Better Dogs is all about.
And organizations like Spring Hill Animal Clinic play an incredibly important role by recognizing when their clients need additional behavioral support and connecting those families with someone willing to help.
So today, I simply want to say:
❤️ Thank you, Spring Hill Animal Clinic.
Thank you for believing in me.
Thank you for supporting Building Better Dogs.
Thank you for supporting my goal of improving the lives of dogs and their families through positive reinforcement, gentle guidance, and clear communication.
Thank you for trusting me with your clients.
And thank you for everything you do to help the dogs and families of Mobile enjoy happier, safer, and more successful lives together.
I am grateful to have your support as I work to make a difference—one dog, one owner, and one family at a time. 🐾

September is National Pet Insurance Month

We all want to give our pets the best care possible, but unexpected accidents and illnesses can happen when we least expect them. That’s where pet insurance can be a huge help.

One of the biggest benefits of having pet insurance is having a little more peace of mind when the unexpected happens. Whether it’s an emergency, surgery, a serious illness, or ongoing treatment, insurance may help cover a portion of those veterinary costs.

A few reasons pet parents choose pet insurance:

* Helps with unexpected veterinary expenses
* Gives you more options when your pet needs extensive care
* Can help make emergency situations a little less stressful financially
* Allows you to focus on your pet’s care instead of worrying as much about the cost

Every insurance company and plan is different, so it’s important to read the fine print and understand what is and isn’t covered, including deductibles, reimbursement, waiting periods, and pre-existing conditions.

A few that our clients currently use are:
* Spot
* Embrace
* Lemonade
* Trupanion
* Pumpkin
* Figo
* MetLife

Happy International Dog Day!

Today we’re celebrating the dogs who make our lives (and our homes) so much better!

We thought it would be fun to show you some of the very spoiled, very loved pets of our Spring Hill Animal Clinic team! These pups may not all come to work with us, but they definitely keep us busy when we get home!

From couch cuddles to muddy paws, endless toys, and unconditional love, our own dogs remind us every day why we love what we do.

Meet some of the furry family members behind the faces you see at the clinic!

Happy International Dog Day to all of our patients and their families! Give your pups an extra treat, belly rub, and kiss today—they deserve it!

And we want to see them! Drop a picture of your sweet babies in the comments below and let us celebrate them, too!
