Quick math for business owners generating $150K or more per year:

If you're paying $40K in taxes annually (which is conservative at that income level), that's $400,000 over the next 10 years.

Just... gone.

That’s like walking into a car dealership, buying a Rolls-Royce, and then lighting it on fire… completely destroying a $400,000 car.

And the worst part?

A significant chunk of that was likely legal to keep.

I know that because I spent 8 years as an IRS agent reviewing business owner returns.

I saw the ones who paid almost nothing.

(And I saw the ones who overpaid by six figures year after year.)

The difference was their tax investments and tax structure.

Specifically, whether their income was flowing through the right vehicles before it became taxable.

Things like real estate, business acquisitions, and entity structuring.

Things that are already written into the tax code and fully legal to use.

This is for you if you've already paid a tax bill that made you wince ($20K, $50K, $100K or more) and you're not willing to do it again without a fight.

This is NOT for W-2 employees or business owners making less than $150k per year. And this is definitely NOT another deduction strategy.

Did you know the IRS allows homeowners to collect up to 14 days of rental income on their primary residence completely tax-free?

Under IRS Section 280A, known as the Augusta Rule, business owners can rent their home to their own business for planning sessions, executive meetings, or company events. Your business receives a legitimate tax deduction, and you receive tax-free income.

I sat down with James Thomasson at Accelerated Accounting to discuss how entrepreneurs can use smart property ownership strategies. James is known throughout our community as a trusted advisor who helps local business owners legally protect and maximize their income.

At my granddaughter’s birthday party there were some very special guests (besides me). Can you name all the characters? Once Upon a Time Parties provided the entertainment.
