Alabama Power Service Organization/Mobile Chapter

The Alabama Power Service Organization (APSO) is excited to kick off the new school year by giving back to the students at J.U. Blacksher School. Through our Back-to-School Drive, we provided clear backpacks and school supplies to help students start the year with the tools they need for success.

At APSO, we believe that investing in our children is an investment in the future of our community. We hope these backpacks and supplies not only ease the financial burden for families but also remind every student that they are supported, encouraged, and valued.

Serving our communities is at the heart of what we do, and opportunities like this allow us to make a meaningful difference beyond the workplace. We are grateful for the chance to partner with J.U. Blacksher School and help students begin the school year with confidence and excitement.

We wish all of the students, teachers, and staff a safe, successful, and rewarding school year. Remember you have a community that believes in you and is cheering you on every step of the way!

FLIGHTPATH9 EARLY CAREER APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!!!

FlightPath9 is a Flight Works Alabama (FWA) pre-employment training program designed to prepare individuals for a position at Airbus’ U.S. Manufacturing Facility here in Mobile.

Participants will engage in 10 weeks of comprehensive learning opportunities at Bishop State Community College. FlightPath9 Early Career participants must have completed high school and be 18 years or older by November 2, 2026.
