Mobile SPCA

Mrs. Scarborough adopted DOLLY this afternoon! Dolly has been in the shelter with us for only a week and is already going to her furever home! She is the sweetest little girl. We hope you have the best life!

What can we say about the United States Coast Guard that we haven't said before? Nothin'! So we'll just say it again: THESE FOLKS ROCK! They have helped the Mobile SPCA out so consistently and for so long, and are always a real pleasure to have every single time. This group came out on Thursday to lend a hand moving thousands of items for our Giant Rummage Sale and worked all morning setting it up. The USCG has wonderful volunteers and are always such a delight to work with. Our sincerest thanks...always.

Well, we are as ready as we'll ever be! Please come shop our Fall Giant Rummage Sale. This is one of our largest fundraisers of every year and we depend on the proceeds to support our mission of saving our area homeless animals. You can be part of this by coming out and shopping our sale, today or tomorrow - or both! Trust us...we'll have plenty for both days. AND - there's lots more stuff outside as well! All details are included in the flyer. Please do not sent questions via FB today as our staff will be busy with the sale. Ask anyone who has attended our sales in the past...you will NOT be disappointed! Note: We take CASH, CHECKS, DEBIT CARDS, and CREDIT CARDS. Thank you!

NOTE: We take CASH, CHECKS, CREDIT CARDS, DEBIT CARDS.

Holy moly, gazillions of great stuff! When we say stacked to the ceiling, we mean it! There are also wonderful finds outside though it's too early and dark for those photos. Come shop and take home bargains while supporting the Mobile SPCA.

VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED FOR SATURDAY! We still have space 12 student volunteers per shift for our Rummage Sale on 10/03. The shifts are 7:30 until 10:30 and 10:30 until 2:00 p.m. Note: Kids in 9th grade and up can volunteer without an adult and kids in middle school can volunteer with a parent who volunteers with them. Please email [email protected] if you can help (and do NOT respond in this thread as staff will be too busy working the sale to respond).

We also could use a few more ADULT VOLUNTEERS for Saturday. At this point, you can just show up to help and staff will put you to work! And remember...once you're at the sale, you can take advantage of all the good stuff to take home too!

Starts TODAY (Friday, 10/02) - continues TOMORROW (Saturday, 10/03)...RAIN OR SHINE! We are packed to the literal rafters...and outside stuff as well. Come shop, come support the Mobile SPCA and our rescue efforts. NOTE: We take CASH, CHECKS, CREDIT CARDS, DEBIT CARDS.

Tomorrow, October 2nd, is the FIRST DAY of our GIANT FALL RUMMAGE SALE! Hopefully it's been on your calendar and you have plans to attend. Every single Rummage Sale we have folks commenting on our photos how they wish they'd known about it...don't be one of those people who miss out this time. It's always fun and you will take away bargains like you can't believe. Come tomorrow or come Saturday - or come both days! You won't be sorry!

NEEDED! HAY AND/OR STRAW!! Our doggies' play yard is in need of hay or straw to keep it fresh and fill in holes which will become a muddy mess with rain on the way. Any donations of either would be so appreciated! If you can help us out, please just send an email to [email protected] to let us know when you're coming and they will be available to help. Hours/days we are open are posted on our main page. And if you'll SHARE this post, maybe one of your friends can help us out too! MANY THANKS!
