SAME Mobile Post

Our July meeting was a tremendous success and marked an exciting start to the year!

We were honored to welcome Darryl James, Ph.D., P.E., Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of South Alabama, who shared an overview of the college's exceptional engineering programs and its commitment to preparing the next generation of engineering professionals.

During the meeting, we also proudly inducted our 2026–2027 Board of Directors:

Carlos Prieto, Secretary
Connor Cobb, Treasurer

We were also honored to receive a Streamer Award, recognizing the continued dedication and accomplishments of our chapter.

One of the highlights of the meeting was awarding scholarships to four outstanding students: Camantha Cobb, Jana Boyd, Dallas Wyatt, and Meadow Ogg. Congratulations to each recipient! We are proud to support your educational journey and future success.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to a memorable July meeting. We look forward to another year of leadership, service, and investing in the future of our profession.

• Advanced registration is required. Registration will close at 3:00 PM on Monday, April 13, and only registered attendees will be permitted to enter.

• Access will be limited to the first-floor conference room area and restrooms only.
• If you have separate meetings scheduled with USACE Mobile District personnel, you will need to exit and re-enter the facility with your es**rt.
