Franklin Graham is voicing his support for Indiana Fever player Sophie Cunningham, praising her for standing firm despite criticism from fans, fellow players, and coaches.
Graham pointed to Cunningham’s outspoken position that women and girls should not be required to compete against biological males or share female locker rooms with them. He noted that her stance has drawn boos and protests but applauded her willingness to continue speaking about what she believes is fairness in women’s sports.
Calling Cunningham “one tough lady” who is “not afraid to stand up,” Graham made it clear that he agrees with her position.
His message to the WNBA and the media was simple: Let her get back to playing basketball.

During a 2016 Republican presidential primary debate, Marco Rubio was referred to as the party’s “savior.” He quickly redirected the attention away from himself and toward his faith.
“Let me be clear about one thing, there’s only one Savior, and it’s not me. It’s Jesus Christ who came down to Earth and died for our sins,” Rubio responded.
Nearly a decade later, Rubio continues to speak publicly about his Christian faith. After becoming U.S. Secretary of State, he expressed gratitude to “Almighty God and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” while emphasizing his belief that faith in Christ is ultimately more important than political success, titles, or accomplishments.
For many Christians, hearing someone serving at one of the highest levels of government openly proclaim the name of Jesus has been encouraging.
Positions change. Titles eventually disappear. Political influence doesn't last forever. But for believers, the message remains the same: Jesus Christ is the Savior, and our relationship with Him is what ultimately matters.

Seventeen-year-old TikTok creator Byron Lutz, known online as “Byron Junior’s World,” gained widespread attention after posting a Whataburger food review that included a prayer and ended with his familiar message: “Jesus loves you.”
The South Carolina teenager says he was later fired from his job after coworkers complained about him talking about Jesus and sharing the Gospel at work. Lutz also claims he experienced bullying and threats from some coworkers leading up to his termination.
Whataburger has said it respects the religious beliefs and freedoms of its employees while also expecting team members to follow company workplace policies. However, the company has not publicly specified which policy Lutz allegedly violated, leaving the exact circumstances surrounding his firing disputed.
Instead of silencing him, the controversy brought even more attention to his message. His video reached millions of viewers, and supporters from across the country rallied around the young creator.
Lutz has since found employment at two other restaurants and says he is choosing not to hold onto bitterness. Instead, he's leaving the situation “at the foot of the cross” and trusting Jesus with whatever comes next.
Sometimes what looks like a closed door can become an opportunity to share your faith with more people than you ever imagined.
Would you do this to your home?

During an interview on the “Stay True Podcast,” Candace Cameron Bure opened up about how faith influenced the choices she made while growing up in Hollywood.
Looking back, Bure says she can now see God's hand guiding her even before she fully understood what was happening. As a teenage actress, she frequently faced decisions about roles, scripts, and expectations that conflicted with her personal convictions.
When opportunities involved s*x scenes or pressure to present herself more provocatively, Bure said turning them down was often an “easy decision.” Protecting her character and integrity mattered more to her than gaining attention or advancing her career.
She admitted that wasn't always easy emotionally. There were times when she watched other young actresses receive more attention for taking s*xier roles and wondered if she was missing opportunities. Still, something inside kept telling her not to compromise...a conviction she now believes was the Lord guiding her.
As Bure became more intentional about her relationship with God in her 20s, she began to understand those convictions differently.
Today, she encourages others not to ignore that inner prompting when something doesn't feel right. Sometimes the voice telling you not to compromise isn't holding you back...it may be God protecting you, directing you, and teaching you how to stay faithful to Him.

STALIN TRIED TO REMOVE GOD FROM A NATION, BUT HIS OWN DAUGHTER EVENTUALLY TURNED TO FAITH
Joseph Stalin led a Soviet regime that aggressively promoted atheism, closed and destroyed churches, imprisoned believers, and persecuted countless members of the clergy. Yet inside Stalin's own family, an unexpected story of faith was unfolding.
His daughter, Svetlana Alliluyeva, was raised in an environment where religion had virtually no place. But as an adult, during a frightening period involving her son's health, she began to pray despite having little knowledge of how to do so. She later described becoming deeply convinced that God had heard her.
That experience became a turning point in her spiritual journey. In 1962, while the Soviet government continued restricting religious life, Svetlana was baptized into the Russian Orthodox Church. Years after leaving the Soviet Union, her search for God continued, eventually leading her to become Catholic.
There is something remarkable about the contrast: Stalin possessed enormous political power and attempted to suppress faith throughout an empire, yet he couldn't prevent his own daughter from searching for God.
Governments can close churches. Cultures can reject Christianity. People can attempt to silence belief. But they cannot control what happens when a searching heart reaches out to God.
Sometimes faith survives in the very places where people worked hardest to destroy it.
