My baby has been down for over a week and I took it to the hospital (the Computer Hospital) and Mrs. Marilyn Gullet got me back up and running. I’m not an IT person but I play one in real life and I tried my best to figure my issue out and I knew it would take a real tech genius to strip my system down and fix the issue so today will be filled with getting my baby back up with all of programs. Cybercriminals are sending fake invitation emails that appear to come from someone you know. The subject line may read:

📧 "You're Invited! Please Come Share this Special Moment with Us"

Even if the sender looks familiar, do not open the email or click any links until you've confirmed with the person—by phone, text, or another trusted method—that they actually sent it.

❌ If You Haven't Opened the Email:

✅ Delete it immediately.
✅ Mark it as Spam or Phishing.
✅ Contact the sender through another method to verify whether they sent it.

⚠️ If You Already Opened the Email:
If you only opened it and did NOT click any links or download attachments: Your risk may be low, but delete the email and monitor your account.
If you clicked a link or downloaded an attachment:
Disconnect from the internet if you suspect malware.
Run a full antivirus/anti-malware scan.
Change your email password immediately from a trusted device.
Change any other passwords that use the same login.
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your accounts.
Check your sent folder, inbox rules, and account settings for suspicious activity.
Notify your contacts if you think your account may have been compromised.
