This is always a fun night!

Join us Tuesday, October 6th, from 5:00–7:30 PM in the Causey parking lot for our annual Food Truck Fundraiser! 🐯🍔🌮

Come hungry and enjoy dinner from some amazing local food trucks while supporting Causey! A portion of all sales will be donated to Causey PTSA to help fund the fun events we provide for our students and staff throughout the year.

Coding is in motion at Causey! 🤖🏎️

Students in Causey’s robotics elective have been learning the basics of coding while programming RVR+ cars. A huge thank-you to Blount High School JROTC for generously loaning us the cars and helping make this hands-on learning experience possible!

🚀🤖 Flip, Test, Repeat! 🤖🚀

Students in Mrs. Dillard’s robotics class are putting the Engineering Design Process into action—and things are getting a little flippy! 💦🍾

Their challenge: How many mL of water does it take to make a bottle flip and land on its bottom? Students worked in teams, experimented with different-sized bottles, and adjusted the amount of water for each trial. The goal? 3 successful flips! 🎯

There was plenty of testing, teamwork, problem-solving, and, of course, some serious bottle-flipping fun! 🙌

Who knew engineering could be this much fun? STEM + teamwork + bottle flips = a great day of learning! 🔬💡🤖

They are learning how to work through challenging activities, persevere when things get difficult, and keep going until the challenge is complete. Students also set up their engineering notebooks to help them stay organized and prepare for a successful year. We’re off to a great start! 🧠⚙️📓
