There’s something pretty special about building a place on the Mobile waterfront to honor one of Mobile’s own. We are incredibly proud to have had a hand in bringing the Jimmy Buffett statue to life at the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf.
Jimmy grew up here. He went to school here. He learned to love the water here. Those early Mobile days became part of the stories, songs, and spirit that made Jimmy Buffett who he was. Now, a little piece of that story has a place right here at home.

Good work speaks for itself… but we’ll wear it too.
Celebrating a great 4 years with the PL Russell team.

Cooper Riverside Park in Downtown Mobile is nearing the finish line, and the change from January to June is nothing short of incredible. This is what happens when a big vision meets standout teamwork. Our team turned collaboration into craftsmanship, pride, and lasting impact. More than a park, it’s a future for Mobile.

As a proud Gulf Coast general contractor, PL Russell is grateful for the opportunity to strengthen our community through quality concrete, civil, and site development work that supports families, businesses, and essential infrastructure across Mobile and beyond. Wishing everyone a safe and joyful Fourth of July—let’s keep building a brighter future together.

🌧️ Rainy weeks call for creative solutions. The PL Russell team pulled the tents out last week to start demolition of a brick wall for a new parking lot courtyard.
