🇺🇸 A new place to respectfully retire your American flag.

The Mobile County Recycling Center, operated by Goodwill Gulf Coast, now has a new American flag retirement box. A big thank you to Dan Jacobsen with the American Legion for providing the new box. 💙

When your American flag becomes faded or worn, don't throw it away. Bring it to the Recycling Center, where it can be retired with dignity by the American Legion veterans.

🇺🇸 Together, we can make sure our nation's flag receives the respect it deserves. ❤️🤍💙

The 2026 National Litter Study uncovered an interesting disconnect:

📊 94% of people believe litter is a problem in America.
💚 90% say it's their personal responsibility to help reduce it.
🚮 Yet 74% also acknowledge they've littered at some point in their lives.

The encouraging part? We already agree that litter matters.

The opportunity? Turning that awareness into everyday actions that help keep our communities clean, green, and beautiful.
