Modesto Kiwanis knows kids deserve better than a backpack that rips before winter break. The ChalkWild CreateCalm Kit is a wearable canvas for self-expression, a calming tool, a mobile art gallery for kids to show off their work if they want and a backpack built to survive the whole school year and beyond.

We’re grateful to the thoughtful, generous members of Modesto Kiwanis for choosing quality over the flimsy giveaways that fall apart after a few weeks. Giving a child a free backpack doesn’t mean giving them a low quality ones that we’d never buy for our own kids. We need more organizations like Modesto Kiwanis: ones that treat children’s mental health and education like they actually matter, not like an afterthought.

ACSA Region 7 Spring Conference in South Lake Tahoe. It feels more like Spring. The weather is perfect. No snow. We have had many splendid conversations with educators today. We hope to have more conversation about how ChalkWild programs can foster more student’s success tomorrow.
