🧀 50 YEARS OF RIVERBANK RUN FOR THE CHEESE! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Some races are more than a finish line. They become part of a community’s story.

In 1977, a group of local runners came up with an idea to kick off Riverbank’s Wine & Cheese Festival with a race. And just like that, the Run for the Cheese was born!

Over the years, one person has played a special role in keeping that tradition alive: Race Director Bruce Edwards. His dedication, along with the support of ShadowChase Running Club, has helped make this race a beloved Riverbank tradition for decades.

Now, we’re celebrating 50 years! 🎉
