This week’s drop is pure luxury. We have an incredible collection of pure Mongolian cashmere and wool cashmere coatings, milled in Italy by Piacenza 1733 and sourced from the deadstock collection of an iconic American luxury brand.

There are rich neutrals, brilliant colors, double faced options, and even a tan and taupe tiger print. These are true heirloom fabrics made for coats, capes, and jackets you will wear for decades. Ron walks through the colors, textures, weights, and drape, along with a huge group of Japanese and Italian cotton shirtings, Italian wool fabrics, and new Bemberg cupro linings.

Very limited yardage and no restocks once they are gone.

This week’s designer deadstock drop is full of color, texture, and beautiful sewing possibilities.

We added Santa Barbara rayon/linen, Italian linens, Japanese Cotton/Tencel ginghams, Hokkoh pinwale corduroys, Italian cotton lawns and voiles, printed viscose challis and sateens, cotton seersucker, stretch cotton sateens, and a few really fun florals and border prints.

Think breezy blouses, camp shirts, summer dresses, skirts, lightweight pants, playful layers, soft statement pieces, and garments where the fabric brings most of the personality.

Lots of Italian and Japanese deadstock in this one, with some truly special prints all throughout.

This week’s designer deadstock drop has a strong fall sewing feel.

We added Italian denim, heavyweight Italian cotton flannel, printed and textured cottons, stretch cotton sateens, Hokkoh Japanese selvedge twills, and Kaihara Japanese superstretch selvedge denims.

Think jeans, jackets, overshirts, chore coats, structured skirts, trousers, flannel shirts, shackets, button-ups, and statement pieces with texture and substance.

A lot of this group is heavier, more structured, and full of really special Italian and Japanese deadstock.

As always, yardage is limited.

We added Italian embroidered cotton voile, cotton/silk voile, eyelets, clip dots, dobby stripe lawns, cotton seersuckers, linen/cotton stripes and plaids, stretch cotton/linen gingham, and a really fun group of Japanese linens.

Think summer blouses, camp shirts, button-ups, dresses, skirts, coverups, lightweight pants, kidswear, and pieces where the fabric does most of the work.

Lots of airy cottons, natural textures, painterly prints, and special little details in this one.

We added rayon challis, viscose micro twill, cotton eyelet, guipure lace, embroidered cutout denim, double gauze, modal/spandex jerseys, heavyweight cotton jerseys, tons of fashion rib knits, geo quilted-look double knits, tweeds, waffle knits, and a reversible ponte.

There are so many good options here for soft tees, fitted tops, dresses, skirts, lounge sets, cardigans, pullovers, jackets, vests, and statement pieces with better texture and hand feel.

New designer deadstock is live.

This drop is packed with pretty garment fabrics: cotton voiles, cottage florals, Art Gallery cotton jersey knits, rayon challis, shirtweight cotton sateens, Tencel denim, chambrays, twills, corduroy, and a gorgeous Japanese silk/viscose twill.

Lots of good options for soft blouses, easy dresses, skirts, pajamas, kidswear, tees, knit dresses, lightweight jackets, and pieces that feel a little more special than the usual basics.

We really, really love Art Gallery Fabrics around here.

Their cotton poplins are some of our favorite cottons for garment sewing because they have that smooth, soft, almost silky hand that feels so much nicer than a lot of standard quilting cottons, while still being stable and easy to sew.

This drop includes a big mix of Art Gallery prints and 60+ Pure Solids, and honestly, it’s just a really good reminder of why people love them so much. Beautiful colors, great print design, lovely hand feel, and an infinity of possibilities for shirts, dresses, skirts, pajamas, kidswear, quilts, and all the little handmade things that need a better cotton.
