This weeks prayer requests and praise reports ✝️☝️

Paul - Please pray for his son who lives in Idaho and recently had a stroke. Good news came that he is up and walking, and please pray for continuing healing/recovery and for Paul and other family members as they help care
for him during this recovery time. Also, please pray for Paul's friend and his family as they grieve the loss of his
mother. Both Paul and his friend are involved in an outreach ministry, the Dusty Disciples, who have generously been richly blessing CITP with a full meal for all of the people once a month over many years.

Carolyn - Praise that she recently had emergency gall bladder surgery and all went well. She is healing and recovering very well at this time.

No name - "Prayer that we receive all of the blessings and callings that are meant for us."

Lisa - Praise for the music during the CITP service.

CITP - Please pray that God would stir hearts and provide more volunteers for the weekly Sunday CITP services, as there is an ongoing need for more help for set up, tear down, and other areas of service from week to week.

Gary - Pray for youth to be able to resist peer pressure and the pressures at the park.

CITP - Pray that God will meet the needs of the people in the park: housing, food, finances, jobs, Children's happiness, and Jesus most of all ministry.

Please pray for a man who is a Gulf War vet with a son who is autistic and doesn't speak

leader - Praise for all those who bring food to the people who receive it throughout the day, both in the early morning and during CITP, and also for all of the volunteers who serve at CITP.

The eternal God is your refuge and dwelling place, and underneath are His everlasting arms. Deuteronomy 33:27

The Mcguire Family-
Just asking for prayers for the family to stay together and strong in the Lord.
And praise that Moms hand has no more infection.

Harry - Is asking for prayer for God's discernment and to reveal to him truth that he needs to know and follow.

Clarleen - Please pray for her son and daughter, Heather & Bruce (not specific), and for her to "get life with God."

No name - Asks for prayer to be who God calls him/her to be around family and others. Also, to see when he/she over steps his/her boundaries and to grow in God's wisdom and character, etc.

Brad - Please pray for God's covering over his physical, mental, and emotional health, and for grace and comfort
as Brad continues his life without his wife who passed away last year.

Gary - Praise: For prayer warriors, God's goodness toward us, for well behaved children, for the growth of children, CITP for all God does at CITP, and for answered pryers for Children's Church.

Children's Church Requests: For the salvation of those that come to CITP, that families in the park will turn toward the Lord,
Church that children will be saved, more children will attend, that the children's lessons are dynamic, and Leader keep their interest, and that the activities are meaningful and creative.

Carolyn - Praises the Lord for just getting released from the hospital she had an inflamed Gallbladder and asks for continued prayers while healing....hopes to be back in church this sunday.

Here are the prayer requests received today at CITP:

Stephanie - Thanking God for His provision for more work hours for her this coming week to help me her financial needs Asks for prayer for Sandra's family as they grieve her recent passing away. Please pray for God's comfort to cover them during this sorrowful time.


Carolyn - Has some physical discomfort and concerns that need further evaluation and testing. Asks for prayer for her upcoming ultrasound on Sept. 8.

Tony - Please pray for his granddaughter Courtney, who will be having some medical tests tomorrow related to liver and blood clot issues revealed in a recent medical test.
Praises God for opening the opportunity to pray with James who is in the hospital (organs shutting down),
and reports that James prayed to receive Christ. Please pray for God's comfort and peace to cover James and for Tony as he continues to visit and pray for him whenever possible.

Lisa - Please pray for her family (not specific)

CITP Children's ministry - Please pray for Gary as he oversees and leads the Children's church every Sunday, and for the children who attend to be receptive and responsive to the Gospel and other input received from week to week, and that they will share what they hear and learn with their family members.

Hello Friends
There will be no Movie Night tonight for
Church In The Park, Modesto

We will be from now on holding our movie nights on the 1st Friday of the month and no longer on the 4th Friday.

So next movie night will be Sept. 4th 2026 and we will be starting an hour earlier at 5:30pm instead of 6:30pm.

Will post updates soon have an amazing announcement to make... we're bringing Christian Music Kareoke/ Sing along worship night back! We have all been wanting to bring it back since covid shut us down from gathering indoors....but Praise God we're back!!!
To God be all the Glory for this new ministry launch.

15 min intermission and then the Worship session 🙌

Tony - Asks for prayer with regard to having his bank account hacked and now doesn't
have the funds owed for his storage unit due tomorrow, August 17. Please pray for God's guidance and provision as he tries to acquire the money for payment and if he can't by tomorrow that he will get a grace period, because as of today he was told he would not have an extension beyond tomorrow. Also, pray that his bank account issue will be resolved and his money retrieved some way.

Stephanie - Asks for prayer for Sandra who is currently at ICU in the hospital on a ventilator due to a recent stroke. Please pray for her medical team, for healing and recovery, and for God's overall covering during this critical time.

Gary - Please pray for him as he continues to lead Children's Church at CITP. He requests prayer that children will attend from week to week, that they will be attentive and listen, be receptive and responsive to the message they hear, and receive Jesus as their Savior. Also, that their parents will to be open and drawn to a relationship with Christ.
