Pupz N Palz Rescue who strives to save just one life at a time.
We are a small no kill 501c3 nonprofit rescue group based out of Modesto, Ca. We get our dogs from various high kill shelters, take owner surrenders (as space provides), and on occasion lost and abandoned animals, when space provides and proper steps have been taken to locate owners. All dogs are vaccinated, utd on vaccines, flea treated, puppies wormed, micro chipped and spayed/neutered prior to leaving. All kitties are first fostered in homes then once healthy, shots and spayed/neutered then are placed in our adoption room at Modesto Petco at 2021 Evergreen Ave. Please text ahead of time to see the kitties.

Brandi (was "Bricky" at Stanislaus shelter) back from the vet.
Today she got an injection for pain and 1 antibiotic injection plus 3 meds to go home. One oral antibiotic, one for pain and one for her eyes.
She'll be on antibiotics for 10 days then back in for surgery. She'll have double cherry eye surgery, spay and removal of that mass on her neck all at the same time. Also looking at xrays for her back end and possibly lab to send off the lumps in her neck.
Today was only about $170, but we're still looking at around $2000 total for surgery etc.
We've raised just under $700 so far so we have around $500 to go towards her surgeries.
Leaving us with needing a min of $1500 now.

Taking her to the vet today. We're at almost $700 raised so far.

I will HOPEFULLY be at the facility by noon today. Have an 11 appointment at vet across the street.
I can stay til 3 or 4 today if anyone has yard sale or auction items to bring in?

HOPEFULLY we can have our yard sale this Sat Oct 3rd from 10-1:30. Gates open at 10 and close by 2 in our complex, so we cant really do much earlier or later unfortunately 😐
Fri I'll be at the facility from at least 10-2. I'll try to get there a little earlier but thats my plan for now. Want to have a couple tables already set up for Sat, so all we have to do is literally carry them outside. We have several tubs of items already priced.
Sat neeed help with set up so want to be there by 8 am. We will have to let you in the gates.
Accepting donations still too.
Tomorrow, Tuesday I'll be at the facility but probably not until at least noon. I have a vet appointment with "Bricky"....now Brandie across the street with Dr B. ;)
So please let me know if you have items to donate or would like to help volunteer on Fri and/or Sat.
Need a little muscle Sat morning to help set yo canopies, tables, bring out tubs and crates etc. :)

Please keep sharing. She has her vet appointment tomorrow. So far we've raised just under $700. She'll need much more than that for her surgeries.
We will post her again tomorrow after her vet visit and what all she'll need.
But those double cherry eyes need fixed and that huge mass on her neck needs to be removed. So Im sure we're looking at a few thousand for her. :(
