We know that sometimes, it feels like one vote doesn't matter. Voter suppression tactics and policies have historically silenced voices before, and the fight to protect our constitutional right to vote continues today. But if your vote didn't count, no one would fight so hard to control it. Your vote really matters.

If you're able to vote and if you're choosing to vote this November, check your status. Make sure you're registered and the information on your registration is correct. Use your voice, know our histories, and vote for our collective future, California.

September is National Su***de Prevention Month, and today we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the small wins that keep us going from day to day.

When we talk about self-care, there can be so many ideas about what we should be doing, and sometimes all of those things just feel hard. Sometimes, the win is simply doing one positive thing for yourself that day.

So if you’re in the thick of things and you’ve only managed one thing for yourself today, we’re proud of you. That small win matters.

We see you. We support you. We care about you. We love you. And we are so happy you’re here with us.
