Anybody else have a cheap tool that ended up outperforming expectations?
This picture is from the day I bought these at Grocery Outlet. Still got the $12.99 tag on them.
I wasn’t looking for new pruners, but they were drop-forged steel (Garden Grove brand) and cheap enough that I figured I’d give them a shot.
After the first day of use I knew they were winners.
They’re not the strongest pruners I own, but they fit my hand well, the lock stays out of the way, and they’ve quickly become my go-to pair for everyday trimming.

These last few days have humbled me in ways I wasn’t prepared for. She has been my anchor, steady, patient, and present through every hard moment, every wave, and every small win. When I didn’t have the strength, she carried it without hesitation.

She deserves more credit and recognition than I could ever give her alone. I am endlessly grateful, and I would not be here without her.

Unexpected surgery this week after years of pushing through pain. Recovery won’t be instant, but it’s moving in the right direction.

Business will continue, just at a more deliberate pace for a bit. Appreciate the trust and support.

Wasn’t planning to post today but while stopping for a quick lunch I couldn’t help looking up and feeling proud.
