Zac Bagan’s Haunted Museum
I considered visiting the museum the past 2 years I was in town for RollerCon but couldn’t fit it in my schedule. The tour is 2 1/2 hours long!
I chose the VIP tour. Comes with extra viewing rooms and a tee shirt. I upgraded my lanyard for his signature because it was only 20 bucks. Also paid $49 for a Insta Polaroid camera to take 10 pictures. Smart gimmick. The only photo which I found interesting was Al Capone’s bedroom dresser. I was the last out of the room. I said “Say John Looney!” and snapped a photo. The flash worked but the photo is very dark. The dresser is barely noticeable.
The art on his tarot cards is amazing so I bought a box.
As much as I am NOT a fan of Zac Bagan’s (specifically him and not his crew), I absolutely commend him for providing a home to historical artifacts. I really do appreciate him for providing a safe space which spirits associated to the artifacts can still visit.
Absolutely worth the visit. If you go, take the first tour at 10 am. They run tours every 30 minutes. The building was very quiet of humans for the first 1 1/2 hours. Then it gets busy with the other tour guide and group, walking and talking on the same floor your are sharing.
Next to the museum is a cool house in black. Down the street is a tattoo parlor with a hearse and other cool vehicles.

A few in my circle have asked if there would ever be a future public paranormal investigation at the former Rock Island YMCA. Here’s your chance!

I don’t generally attend paranormal events every weekend. The events just happened to be scheduled as such. Now I have nothing on my calendar for spoopy investigations. 😅

April 11: Buffalo Bill Museum (Whispering Souls Paranormal-Investigations)
April 18: Quarters One (Illinois Paranormal Research Group)
April 25: Kids Night - Haunted Rock Island Roadhouse (C&R Paranormal)

I will post my EVP findings and experiences (fingers crossed) this week.

Para friends. I highly recommend visiting Sylvan Island. Not only is the island full of wild plants & migratory song birds, it is active with both residual energy and spirits. It’s a great location for exercise and exploration.
