We were so honored to have The Story Shop featured by VoyageATL. ✨

Our founder, Melissa Music, recently shared a little about how The Story Shop began, the journey of creating a bookstore children could truly step into, and the community that has helped keep the magic alive for nearly ten years.

If you’ve ever wondered about the story behind The Story Shop, you can read the interview here:

And to everyone who has visited, shared us with a friend, brought a child to storytime, celebrated a birthday here, bought a book, or simply believed in what this little bookstore could be — you’re part of this story too. 🤍

A little Labor Day magic awaits. ✨

The Story Shop will be open Monday — come wander the shelves, discover a few magical corners, find your next favorite story, and stay awhile.

Make The Story Shop part of your Labor Day adventure. 📚

✨ Labor Day Hours: 10am - 6pm

When the book is so good, you can’t even wait until you get home. 📚✨

We caught this little reader tucked right into the middle of the yellow brick road, completely lost in his new book — and we couldn’t love it more.

This is exactly the kind of moment we hope happens here. 💛
