Inspiration (or Why I Started This Page)

The people of the United Kingdom have come up with an effective tool to fight corporate tax cheats . A group called UK Uncut has organized and held protests at some of the biggest chain stores in the U.K. in response to austerity measures being handed down by their government. The companies targeted owe millions in taxes or use off-shore tax havens. The U.S. government is currently working on their own form of "austerity". Many good programs are now on the chopping block in D.C. At the same time, billions of corporate dollars are being hoarded and hidden in tax havens. Also, billions in subsidies (OUR TAX MONEY) is given to corporations like Exxon. Corporations that are raking in record profits, year after year. The government would rather cut veterans' benefits, and funding for public education than go after these cheats. No help for home owners under water due to deregulation and bankster fraud. No help for the millions who are out of work at the moment. No helping our crumbling infrastructure. The politicians in D.C. would rather throw the working class under the bus than close the loopholes that corporations exploit to enrich a small elite minority. We also encourage our members to be vigilant in their VOTING! Any politician who supports corporate power and these "Austerity/Debt Reduction/Tricklism" programs against the working people should be removed, recalled, voted OUT of office, and otherwise shunned. Write your representatives, hold them accountable by any means available. Tell them when they've failed, AND when they've done the right thing! The Stick doesn't work without the Carrot. We want to spread information on the activities of these tax dodging corporations, and the politicians who serve them. We will post articles of political and social relevance to this struggle. We will also post articles and videos of the People's protests, and our fight against Corporatism. America is not alone in this! Corporatism is global! This group was literally started at a kitchen table. If we band together, we could accomplish much! Wall Street and the politicians in D.C. seem intent on dividing us, together we can foil their Plan!

Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when federal troops publicly read the Emancipation Proclamation in Galveston, Texas. The troops had arrived in Texas several days earlier to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people were freed. Elon Musk’s so‑called “Department of Government Efficiency” cut an effective screwworm monitoring program to “save” about $15 million a year — and within a year we’re staring down a screwworm crisis the USDA now expects to cost over a billion dollars to contain. That’s not efficiency, that’s sabotage.

Now we have confirmed screwworm cases in U.S. livestock and pets for the first time in about 60 years, and USDA is scrambling to rebuild capacity, rushing sterile fly facilities in Mexico and Texas and throwing more than a billion dollars at a problem we already knew how to prevent. This is what happens when you put a billionaire with no public‑health background and no respect for science in charge of hunting for cuts: he doesn’t see safeguards, he sees “inconvenient” line items that get in the way of his ideology and his bottom line.

And let’s be clear: DOGE was never just about “efficiency.” Trump’s order gave Musk’s operation sweeping access to federal data systems under the guise of streamlining government, with reports that DOGE‑linked operatives reached into sensitive databases at agencies like Social Security, OPM, Treasury, and Education. They were perfectly willing to ignore privacy protections that have been on the books for 50 years — but when it came to a relatively tiny $15 million program that protected ranchers, rural communities, and the broader economy, suddenly that’s where they “tightened belts.”

This isn’t fiscal conservatism, it’s deliberate cruelty dressed up as cost‑cutting. The programs they kill are always the same ones: the ones that regulate corporate power, protect ordinary people, or quietly prevent the next catastrophe. And when the crisis hits — when cattle and goats in Texas and pets in New Mexico start turning up with a parasite we supposedly eradicated generations ago — they point fingers at anyone but themselves.
