🇺🇸The City of Monroe is inviting youth to apply for a unique opportunity to participate in a public reading of excerpts from the United States Declaration of Independence during Hometown Heritage: Monroe’s America 250 Celebration — a memorable evening honoring America’s 250th anniversary through patriotism, history, music, and community spirit.
🗣️These youth participants will join veterans and community members in sharing the powerful words that helped shape the American story and continue to inspire generations today. Students who reside or attend school in the City are eligible to apply to serve as a reader for this historic event.
