The Big Reveal 🌙✨

Remember that leather wrapping post from a while back? Well, the wait is over—here is the official reveal! 🥾🪵

We transformed that piece into an absolute dream of a walking staff, perfect for your next Ren Faire trek or festival weekend. It’s got a gorgeous crescent moon top woven with flowers, a hanging lantern (housing a tiny traveler!), and built-in fairy lights to keep your path magical after dark. 🧚‍♂️✨

Day 7: The grand finale of our anniversary road trip! 🚐🗺️

We kicked off the day with a surprise find: Artes & Craft artes_and_craft_ ! We stumbled on it while waiting for Mikey's Ice Cream mikeysicecream to open so we could grab one last legendary cone before heading out of town. (Seriously, Mikey's makes all their ice cream and the absolute best gluten-free waffle cones in-house! 🤤🍦). Artes & Craft was an amazing spot we’ll definitely revisit, and we walked out with a few wonderful-smelling sage sticks.

Cones in hand, we pointed the van toward Monroe. Even though most of our planned Sunday stops were closed, we made a total day of it! We visited Magick in the work magickinthework, met some great ladies, and picked up a brilliant hands-free smudge stick holder.

Next up was the michiganmuseumofhorror The Michigan Museum of Horror, which was wild! I got to hold a real human skull and check out everything from vintage Ouija boards to an antique vampire hunter kit. 🧛‍♂️🔮

We finally made it back home last night and immediately put our trip haul to work. We used our new holder from Magick in the Work and the sage from Artes & Craft to smudge away any spooky 👻 energy that tried to hitch a ride out of the museum with us!

Day 6: Fueled by local goodies and hunting for coast treasures! 🚐☀️

We started the morning right by grabbing some incredible scones and a breakfast cookie from provisionssnackclub, then hit the road to check out the St. Joseph Farmers Market. From there, we doubled down on markets and headed to South Haven, where we ran into our absolute favorite honey lady, Poppy Candle Company & Gypsey Dew Ragz! 🍯💛
Of course, we also had to stop by degrandchampfarms DeGrandchamp's Blueberry Farm to stock up on a few of our absolute favorites (hello, savory garlic and specialty spreads!). 🧄🍫

After getting our market fix, we finally hit the Lake Michigan beaches to forage for some new studio treasures. Wrapped up this packed day with a seriously yummy dinner at Silver Beach Pizza silver_beach_pizza and topped it off with dessert at Mikey's Ice Cream mikeysicecream. 🍕🍦

Our hearts (and the van's pantry) are completely full. 🤍

Day 5: Bridge Crossing & New Coastlines 🗺️🐟

We spent the first part of our day soaking up the last bits of the U.P. in St. Ignace! We hit up Java Joe's Cafe for a solid breakfast fuel-up, and naturally, we couldn't leave without stopping by Manley's Fish Market to stock the van with some incredible smoked fish. 🍳💨

Then it was time to finally cross the Big Mac! We did a little shopping at Mackinaw Crossings before pointing the van southwest. 🚐🌉

We drove down to the South Haven area to see what kind of treasures Lake Michigan has waiting for us. New lake, new beaches, and the hunt continues! 🌊💎
