We are currently looking for an experienced Industrial Hygienist to work in a shipyard/marine environment.
This position will focus heavily on lead-paint exposure assessment and monitoring before, during, and after lead-paint work on vessels.
We are looking for someone with experience in:
✅ Shipyard, ship repair, marine, or vessel environments
✅ Lead-based paint and lead exposure
✅ Lead exposure assessments
✅ Personal & area air monitoring
✅ Lead abatement/removal projects
✅ Pre-work testing/monitoring
✅ Post-work clearance/verification
✅ OSHA shipyard standards (29 CFR Part 1915)
✅ Exposure control, containment & ventilation
✅ Industrial hygiene documentation and reporting
CIH certification is a plus!
🔹 This is a hands-on position — we're looking for someone who has actually performed or managed industrial hygiene assessments and lead monitoring, not simply someone who has worked around lead.
