We have 2 more dance classes coming up this summer!

Come and learn to dance the Salsa next Tuesday, August 18. Then, next month, learn the Jitterbug on Tuesday, September 22.

Each dance class is held from 7-8pm in the Meeting Room. No registration required.

Today, we’re celebrating Robin Williams with some book suggestions! Find your next read based on your favorite Robin Williams film (we know, it’s hard to pick just one).

We have several book clubs meeting at the library throughout the month!

Our library book club meets on August 22 from 1-2pm. This month the book for this club is The Keeper of Hidden Books by Madeline Martin. No registration required.

Our romantasy book club meets on August 21 from 5:30-6:30pm. This month's romantasy book is The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo. Please register on our calendar at https://mountlaurel.librarycalendar.com/event/romantasy-book-club-38320.

Juvenile book club meets on August 11 and 25 from 6-7pm. This club has no specific book. No registration required.

Middle school book club meets on August 13 and 27 from 6-7pm. This club has no specific book. No registration required.

Middle school book club meets in the Teen Space. All other book clubs meet in the Craft Room.

We’re almost there! The end of our annual summer reading program is Saturday, August 15, from 12pm-4pm. Join us for some fun games and activities, log your last books, and claim your final prizes. And be sure to stick around, because from 2pm-4pm, we’re getting a special visit from REAL LIFE American Girl Dolls.

Scientists from the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum are bringing some of their famous fossils to the Mount Laurel Library! Join us for this dino-tastic summer reading program featuring interactive lessons and hands-on activities with real fossils and specimens. This event will take place on Friday, August 14, from 11:30AM-12:30PM. Please note, the Beyond the Park is a program intended for students in middle school and up. Registration is required for this event.

Did you know on this day in history (August 6) the Voting Rights of 1965 was signed into law? To help you exercise your right to vote, we have voter registration applications as well as applications to vote by mail. These forms can be found right when you walk into the library on a spinner rack near the lobby.

Our video games for checkout now include a healthy collection of Switch 2 games! If you didn't know, you can use your Mount Laurel Library card to check games out from our collection. We have everything from Wii and 3DS games to Playstation 5 games.

We also have a Switch and a Playstation 4 available for check out - you can call the library to be placed on the wait list for a console.

Video Games can be checked out for a week with 1 renewal - Consoles can be checked out for 2 weeks.
